The Perfect Peel

The Perfect Peel is a revolutionary peel system that transforms ageing, dull, pigmented and scarred skin; revealing a younger, healthier and clearer complexion in just one week. Despite the powerful blend of active ingredients, The Perfect Peel can be used on all skin types and requires no pre-peel skin preparation. The process takes less than 15 minutes and is virtually pain free.

The Perfect Peel founds itself on a key anti-aging ingredient never before used in a peel: glutathione. Glutathione is the ultimate antioxidant, penetrating deep into the cellular level of the skin to fight oxidant damage and prevent premature wrinkles. Our bodies naturally produce glutathione but as we age, our levels deplete due to sun exposure, air pollutants, environmental stress and the aging process itself. Glutathione is also proven to reverse melanin’s metabolism, lightening dark pigmentations. The Perfect Peel combines glutathione, kojic acid, TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, and a blend of minerals and vitamins, including vitamin C. Kojic acid is a powerful lightening agent and proven to increase collagen and elastin production, resulting in skin that is brighter and tighter. TCA, phenol and retinoic acid reduce wrinkles and correct pigment problems, while salicylic acid exfoliates the skin and reduces inflammation. Alone the ingredients are powerful, but in combination they produce results that are astonishing.

The skin is cleansed before our Aesthetic Nurse passes the intensive peel solution over the treatment area. Following the procedure aftercare products are supplied to promote healing. Written aftercare advice will be provided along with recommended homecare products to ensure the best possible results are obtained.

After one treatment of The Perfect Peel, overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing and fresh. Depending on skin conditions, multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve desired results. A series of 2-3 treatments applied once every 4 weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as Melasma and active acne. Provided the skin is maintained with good quality skin care products as recommended at initial consultation, skin improvement following treatment will be long-lasting.

The patient may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation which will subside after just a few seconds. Numbing takes place once the first pass of The Perfect Peel solution is applied. A fan or cool breeze may be used for the comfort of the patient.

Immediately after the peel skin will be warm, red and tingly; several clients have likened the post-procedure sensation to mild sunburn. On day three peeling will begin. The Perfect Peel home care moisturiser (included with each peel) will reduce the visibility of peeling by hydrating. By day six or seven the peeling process should be complete and the results are visibly astonishing. The amount of peeling skin associated with The Perfect Peel is mainly a sloughing of thin sheets of epidermis skin that begins around day three and generally is completed by day six or seven. Normal activities may be resumed immediately post peel. We only recommend avoiding heavy exercise and excessive sweating during the peeling process.
