Speciality Spa Massage

Our speciality massages are a range of quite different, but equally therapeutic treatments which incorporate the use of either Lava Shells, Hot Stones or Hydrotherm heated water mats to enhance your spa experience. Each of the three specialist massages is available as either a full body or back treatment.

During our Lava Shell back and full body treatments we use genuine Tiger Clam shells from the South Pacific combined with sachets of minerals, sea kelp and algae which heat (without the need for electricity) to a beautifully warm temperature which will stay constant throughout your treatment. This is the ultimate eco-friendly massage which releases more of the tensions, knotted muscles and stiff joints than other conventional methods and promises to leave you feeling totally chilled out.

During this melting massage your therapist will apply water-heated stones to key points of the body. The heat from the stones relaxes muscular aches, pains and strains in an instant. What’s more, if you suffer from stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, poor circulation, rheumatic or arthritic conditions this treatment will provide comfort to leave you feeling like you’re on cloud nine!

Our Hydrotherm mats are large, warm water-filled cushions which help us to provide a deeply indulgent, three dimensional massage experience. The Hydrotherm cushions transform your treatment couch in to a comfortable waterbed, enabling your therapist to slide their hands under, over and around your body in a blissful, uninterrupted motion, making the massage of huge benefit to those clients who are not able to lie face down.

Our Hydrotherm therapy massages (see above) are a fantastic option for mums-to-be, given we can access all areas of tired and aching bodies and bumps, whilst the pregnant lady is laid comfortably on her back or side.
